Project Description: The Highways Department (HyD) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) has commissioned the construction of sub-sea tunnels to connect Tuen Mun and Chek Lap Kok (TM-CLKL). The TM-CLKL will provide the most direct route between the Northwest New Territories and Hong Kong – Zhuhai – Macao Bridge (HZMB). Ozzo has been brought on to take over the Traffic Impact Assessment and Temporary Traffic Management for this project in order to identify, assess and mitigate potential traffic impacts that might arise from construction trucks involved with the construction process. It is Ozzo’s duty to propose suitable operation hours for the construction trucks to accommodate existing traffic flow and to oversee a proper assessment of possible traffic issues caused by the sub-sea tunnel development.
